Job Description:

Telemark Agricultural Cooperative is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Agricultural Production Supervisor. Your Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of farm activities, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and irrigation
Coordinate and manage a team of agricultural workers
Monitor crop production, ensuring optimal growth, and implementing pest and disease control measures
Develop and enforce protocols for efficient and safe use of equipment and machinery
Perform soil and crop analysis to determine appropriate fertilization and irrigation requirements
Maintain accurate records of farming activities, expenses, and yields
Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, buyers, and regulatory agencies
Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in agricultural production

Requirements:

BSc or MSc degree in Agricultural Science or related field
Proven experience in agricultural production, preferably in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of crop management, soil health, and pest control
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in using agricultural machinery and equipment
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for sustainable farming and environmental conservation
