Position: Aerospace Technology Specialist

Job Description:

As an Aerospace Technology Specialist at BKW, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of next-generation aircraft systems.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to create innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of aviation.
Utilizing your expertise in advanced materials, propulsion systems, and avionics, you will help drive our ambitious projects forward.
Work with external partners and suppliers to integrate new technologies and components into our aircraft designs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in aerospace technology and identify opportunities for improvement or innovation.
Conduct research, analyze data, and participate in testing activities to validate the performance and reliability of new systems.
Present findings and project progress to team members, management, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in the aviation/aerospace industry, preferably in a research and development role.
In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, including materials, propulsion, avionics, and aerodynamics.
Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for design and analysis.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
