Job Description:

As a Polar Expedition Medical Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your medical expertise with an adventurous spirit. Your role will focus on providing healthcare support for our polar expeditions, ensuring the well-being and safety of our researchers and explorers.

Responsibilities:

Conduct medical screenings and assessments for expedition participants
Develop and implement health and safety guidelines for extreme environments
Provide emergency medical care and first aid during expeditions
Collaborate with research teams to assess and mitigate medical risks
Contribute to ongoing research projects related to polar health issues

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited institution
Specialization or experience in fields such as wilderness medicine, emergency medicine, or occupational health
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
Familiarity with research protocols and procedures
