Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives that align with the bank's vision and goals
Collaborate with various departments, including finance, marketing, and operations, to integrate sustainability practices into our day-to-day operations
Research and analyze environmental trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify new opportunities for improvement
Manage and track progress towards sustainability targets and report to senior management
Engage with external stakeholders, such as community organizations and government agencies, to build partnerships and contribute to sustainability-focused initiatives
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental studies, business sustainability)
Experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within a corporate setting
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Passionate about sustainability and its importance in building a better future
