Job Description:

Egilsstadir Community Art Studio is on a mission to create a positive impact on society and the environment through art and community engagement. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as an Environmental Awareness and Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your love for social media/networking technology with our focus on social responsibility and environmental activism.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement environmental awareness campaigns and initiatives.
Create engaging and relevant content for our online platforms.
Manage our social media accounts and build online communities.
Monitor and analyze trends in environmental activism and awareness.
Collaborate with local organizations and businesses to support community initiatives.
Organize educational and interactive workshops for the community.
Represent the company at public events and networking opportunities.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in social media/networking.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Communications).
Proven experience in community engagement and social media management.
Passion for environmental sustainability and activism.
Knowledge of current environmental issues and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems is a plus.
