Position: Coastal Development Project Manager

Job Description:

Lead and manage various coastal development projects in the region.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans for sustainable construction and real estate activities.
Evaluate potential construction sites and assess their environmental impact.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and promote environmentally friendly practices.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other relevant parties.
Provide guidance on design and construction considerations to minimize ecological impact.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles during project implementation.
Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management within the construction or real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of coastal ecosystems, environmental regulations, and sustainable development practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a diverse team.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in English. Knowledge of Icelandic is a plus.
Willingness to travel to project sites within the Northeastern Region of Iceland.
