As an Excavation and Decontamination Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and their environments.
Responsibilities:
- Performing excavation and soil decontamination tasks in accordance with established protocols and industry standards.
- Operating and maintaining specialized equipment used in the cleanup and decontamination processes.
- Conducting environmental assessments and surveys to determine the appropriate remediation procedures.
- Collaborating with a team of professionals to develop and implement effective decontamination strategies.
- Monitoring and documenting progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in excavation, decontamination, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain various excavation and decontamination equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) certification is a plus.
