About the Role

As a Principal Investment Associate - Sustainable Solutions, you will play a critical role in conducting in-depth market research, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting the overall investment decision-making process. You will collaborate closely with our team of experienced professionals to identify disruptive technologies, emerging trends, and innovative business models that align with our investment themes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analysis of potential investment targets, including financial modeling, market sizing, and risk assessment
Perform due diligence on prospective investments, including analyzing business plans, conducting site visits, and assessing management teams
Support the development of investment theses and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain industry and market knowledge by tracking key trends, attending conferences, and building relationships with industry experts
Collaborate with portfolio companies to drive value creation, facilitate strategic partnerships, and support sustainable growth initiatives
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the performance of investments and preparing periodic reports for investors

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MBA or CFA preferred)
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
Deep understanding of the energy and sustainability landscape, including technology trends, policy frameworks, and regulatory dynamics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and investment ideas clearly and concisely
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship
