Position: Conservation and Wildlife Development Officer

Position Summary:
As a Conservation and Wildlife Development Officer, you will play a vital role in creating awareness, implementing conservation strategies, and promoting sustainable development initiatives within the Gauteng region. You will work closely with local communities, businesses, and organizations to protect and preserve the region's unique biodiversity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wildlife conservation programs and strategies
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to address environmental challenges
- Educate communities on the importance of wildlife conservation
- Facilitate partnerships with organizations focused on sustainable development
- Conduct wildlife surveys, research, and monitoring initiatives
- Assist in the development of policies and guidelines for wildlife management
- Coordinate educational campaigns and public outreach programs
- Manage projects to restore and protect natural habitats
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Conservation Biology, or related field
- Proven experience in wildlife management and conservation
- Strong knowledge of local fauna and flora
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Passion for promoting sustainable development and wildlife conservation
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
