Your Role:

As a Geospatial Solutions Engineer at Carmenta, you will play a key role in driving the development and implementation of next-generation spatial solutions that cater to the needs of the Energy and Environment sector. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of experts in geospatial technology, software engineering, and environmental sciences to create innovative solutions that address complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art geospatial solutions for the Energy and Environment industry
Collaborate with clients to understand their unique business requirements and provide expert advice on geospatial solutions
Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
Participate in code reviews, ensuring the highest quality standards
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
Proactively contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geospatial Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Strong knowledge of geospatial data management and analysis
Experience with geospatial software packages (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Passionate about working in a collaborative team setting
