Join Our Team as a Conservation Outreach Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Conservation Outreach Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create a positive impact on the community, raise awareness about the importance of marine life conservation, and inspire individuals to become active participants in our cause.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and implement educational programs focused on marine conservation, promoting responsible behavior towards our oceans.
Collaborate with local communities, schools, and organizations to organize workshops, events, and awareness campaigns that highlight the significance of marine conservation.
Create engaging content for social media platforms, website, and newsletters to educate and inspire people to get involved in our conservation efforts.
Participate in public speaking engagements, presenting the work of LAMC and advocating for the protection of marine life.
Conduct research and surveys to gather relevant data on the state of the marine ecosystem in Liguria.
Identify and build partnerships with businesses, NGOs, and governmental organizations to foster collaborative efforts in marine conservation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Biology, or Conservation.
Prior experience in environmental outreach, education, or related roles is strongly preferred.
Passionate about marine life conservation and environmental sustainability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Italian and English languages.
