Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and visionary individual to join our team as a Sustainable Innovation Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of groundbreaking projects that address emerging challenges in the field of energy and environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough research on technological advancements, policy frameworks, and market trends related to energy and environmental sustainability.
  • Identifying and evaluating potential initiatives for promoting sustainable practices within the chess community and beyond.
  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and technology experts, to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Leading project teams, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Measuring and analyzing the impact of implemented projects and providing regular reports to the management team.
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments in sustainability standards, environmental regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Sustainability Studies.
  • Proven experience in sustainable innovation, project management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of energy and environmental issues, including renewable energy technologies, carbon reduction strategies, and circular economy concepts.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A passion for chess and an understanding of how it can be leveraged to drive environmental awareness will be considered a plus.
