Job Overview:

Fresh Direct Produce, a leading produce company in British Columbia, is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Production Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
Coordinate with different departments, such as procurement, logistics, and quality control, to maintain efficient production processes.
Create and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of raw materials.
Identify and address process bottlenecks to improve productivity and efficiency.
Train and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve consistent quality results.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to optimize production workflow.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant software.
Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
