Role: Legal and Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise on legal matters and provide guidance to team members on regulatory compliance issues.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and procurement documents.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of legal developments in the international and national spheres affecting the organization.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential legal issues and provide proactive solutions.
  • Support the organization in legal disputes, litigation, and investigations.
  • Prepare legal reports, opinions, and presentations for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; additional certifications will be considered a plus.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years working in a legal role.
  • Excellent knowledge of international and national legal frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of compliance principles and ability to apply them effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
