Role: Legal and Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Advise on legal matters and provide guidance to team members on regulatory compliance issues.
Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and procurement documents.
Maintain updated knowledge of legal developments in the international and national spheres affecting the organization.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential legal issues and provide proactive solutions.
Support the organization in legal disputes, litigation, and investigations.
Prepare legal reports, opinions, and presentations for senior management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; additional certifications will be considered a plus.
Proven experience of at least 5 years working in a legal role.
Excellent knowledge of international and national legal frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of compliance principles and ability to apply them effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
