Position: Community Animal Well-being Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to promote animal well-being and safety within the community
  • Develop and implement programs to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership
  • Provide educational resources and guidance to pet owners on proper care, training, and nutrition
  • Investigate reports of animal cruelty or neglect, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws
  • Work closely with veterinary professionals to support animal health initiatives
  • Conduct community outreach events and workshops to promote pet adoption and spaying/neutering

Requirements:

  • Passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of the importance of pets in our society
  • At least three years of experience in a related field, such as community engagement or advocacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to various situations
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and legislation related to animal welfare
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for local travel
