Position: Sustainability & Wellness Champion
At Organic Harvest Farms, we recognize the pivotal role pets play in our lives, bringing joy, companionship, and emotional support. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Sustainability & Wellness Champion. In this role, you will work in a vibrant and innovative environment, driving our commitment to promoting holistic well-being for pets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable farming practices to support the well-being of animals on our farm
- Research and stay up to date with advancements in pet health and wellness
- Create partnerships with animal welfare organizations to enhance our knowledge and improve animal care
- Collaborate with veterinarians and experts in the field to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare
- Lead educational outreach programs to educate pet owners on sustainable and healthy pet care practices
Requirements:
- A passion for animal welfare and promoting sustainable practices
- Strong knowledge of the pet industry and trends in pet care
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders and pet owners
- Experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives is a plus
- Degree in veterinary medicine, animal science, or a related field is preferred
