Position: Nature Preservation Associate
Austurland Community Nature Preserve, located in the beautiful Eastern Region of Iceland, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. As a Nature Preservation Associate, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainability, environmental awareness, and conservation efforts in our diverse and inclusive community.

Your Role:
- Monitor and evaluate nature preservation programs in the region
- Assist in developing sustainable manufacturing practices
- Collaborate with local businesses to promote eco-friendly initiatives
- Educate visitors on the importance of environmental conservation
- Support research projects related to biodiversity and wildlife
- Organize and lead community volunteer programs
- Contribute to the development of nature trails and recreational areas
Requirements:
- A passion for nature preservation, conservation, and sustainability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse cultures
- Ability to undertake fieldwork and work in outdoor environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management and data analysis
