We are hiring a Sports Events Coordinator:

Collaborate with local sports teams and event organizers to plan, coordinate, and manage sports events hosted by Port Authority of Allegheny County.
Develop and execute event marketing strategies to maximize attendance and engagement.
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, equipment rental, and catering services.
Supervise event staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations during the events.
Collaborate with team members to create event budgets, track expenses, and evaluate event success.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the Sports/Entertainment industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in event planning, preferably in the Sports/Entertainment sector.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box when planning events.
Proficient in using event management software and technology.
