About the Role:

As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist at Wawa, you will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to sustainable practices and minimizing our ecological footprint. You will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing environmental initiatives to enhance energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water conservation.
Conducting environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify improvement areas.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into various departments and business operations.
Monitoring key performance indicators and preparing comprehensive reports on environmental performance.
Identifying emerging trends and advancements in sustainability, recommending innovative solutions to address environmental challenges.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability programs.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
