Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable agricultural practices for our olive farms
Monitor and optimize irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage
Manage soil fertility programs, including sustainable pest and weed control methods
Collaborate with researchers and experts to adopt innovative and environmentally friendly farming techniques
Create and maintain documentation related to sustainable farming practices
Conduct regular field inspections to identify potential issues and provide guidance to farm workers
Educate and train farmers on sustainable cultivation practices
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and certifications related to sustainable agriculture

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related field
Proven experience in sustainable agriculture or similar field
Strong knowledge of organic farming methods and certifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Passion for sustainable farming and environmental preservation
Fluency in English and Spanish
