We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our friendly and collaborative team at Leibniz-Institut DSMZ-Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH, located in Lower Saxony, Germany. We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to contribute to our organization's mission of providing innovative services in the field of microbiology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments following established procedures and protocols
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support research and development projects
- Contribute to the maintenance and documentation of laboratory equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements:
- Degree in microbiology, biology, or a related field
- Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the field of microbiology
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
