About the Position:

As an Environmental Conservation Expert at Glarus Mountain Guides, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the delicate balance between outdoor adventure and environmental preservation. Your primary focus will be on creating sustainable practices and promoting environmental awareness throughout our organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable strategies for all our activities and operations.
Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for minimizing negative effects.
Foster partnerships with local environmental organizations and governmental agencies.
Educate and train our staff on environmental conservation practices.
Monitor and analyze our ecological footprint.
Advise on environmentally friendly behavior for visitors and clients.
Stay up-to-date with environmental regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Deep understanding of environmental issues and sustainable development.
Knowledge of energy conservation, waste management, and environmental impact assessment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
