Position: Aviation Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Aviation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aviation operations associated with our watermelon farming industry. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in optimizing crop production, transportation, and logistics.

Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing aviation strategies to support watermelon farming operations
Collaborating with farmers, pilots, and agricultural experts to ensure safe and efficient crop dusting
Conducting aerial surveys to assess crop quality, growth patterns, and potential pest threats
Managing pilot schedules, aircraft maintenance, and flight permits
Ensuring compliance with FAA and environmental regulations
Coordinating with ground crews to optimize loading and unloading of crop dusting materials
Monitoring weather conditions and adjusting schedules accordingly for optimal aviation operations
Providing training and guidance to pilots and ground crews
Implementing safety measures to mitigate accidents and environmental risks

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation or related agricultural operations
Knowledge of crop dusting techniques, aerial surveys, and aircraft maintenance
Familiarity with FAA regulations and environmental guidelines
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
