As an Outdoor Activities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and overseeing sports and entertainment events that promote physical activity while creating awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and wildlife tours.
Develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations to promote active lifestyles.
Create engaging programs that incorporate education on environmental conservation.
Supervise and guide participants during outdoor activities to ensure their safety.
Provide excellent customer service to participants, addressing their needs and concerns.
Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall experience for participants.

Requirements:

Passion for sports, outdoor activities, and the environment.
Prior experience in organizing events or coordinating outdoor activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
Proficiency in English and Icelandic.
