We have an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Counsel with a specialization in Legal/Law. As an Associate Counsel at Covenant Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and providing sound legal guidance for our organization.

Position Overview:

Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies for Covenant Health
Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts and agreements
Provide legal advice on various matters, including healthcare regulations, compliance, and risk management
Participate in contract negotiations with third-party vendors and healthcare providers
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve legal issues and provide guidance on legal implications of business decisions

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state of Tennessee
At least 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a healthcare or corporate setting
Solid understanding of healthcare laws and regulations
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
