Job Opportunity: Community Wellness Facilitator

We are currently recruiting for the position of Community Wellness Facilitator, a vital role within our organization. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals in our community.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with community members to understand their unique needs and develop personalized wellness plans.
Organize and facilitate culturally sensitive workshops and events that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with a diverse team to create innovative strategies to address health disparities in our community.
Coordinate and promote health education programs aimed at raising awareness of various health issues.
Provide guidance and support to community members seeking healthcare resources and services.

Requirements:

Proven experience in community outreach or social service, preferably within a healthcare-related field.
Understanding and appreciation of different cultures, ensuring all community members feel respected and included.
Effective communication skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of local healthcare resources and services available to community members.
Strong organizational skills to effectively plan and coordinate workshops and events.
Fluency in English and at least one other language widely spoken in our community.
Passionate about promoting health equity and advocating for the well-being of marginalized populations.
