Position: Agricultural Development Specialist

About the Role:

Collaborate with local farmers and stakeholders to assess their needs and develop strategies for agricultural development in the region
Conduct research and analysis on emerging farming techniques, technologies, and market trends
Provide guidance on best practices for sustainable farming, optimizing production, and minimizing environmental impact
Organize and deliver training programs and workshops for farmers, promoting knowledge transfer and skills development
Implement and manage agricultural projects, leveraging government resources and grant opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an agriculture-related field
Proven experience in agricultural development, rural consulting, or related roles
Strong knowledge of regional agriculture, including crops, livestock, and farming practices specific to Extremadura
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
