Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Advocate. As a Community Advocate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and fostering positive relationships within our community. You will act as a liaison between the organization and local authorities, with a focus on maintaining legal standards and promoting our mission.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
Manage permits, licenses, and legal documentation
Monitor and report any legal changes or updates affecting the organization
Identify potential legal risks and develop measures to mitigate them
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement legal strategies and policies
Promote community engagement through educational workshops and events
Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and community members
Represent the organization in legal proceedings, if required

Requirements

A degree in law or a related field is preferred
Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to farming and sustainability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
