We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at North Carolina Business Committee for Education in support of our environmental initiatives. As the Environmental Stewardship Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing strategies to promote sustainable practices within our organization and the local community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute environmental stewardship programs and initiatives that align with our mission and values
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate eco-friendly practices across all aspects of our operations
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with local environmental organizations and community groups
- Evaluate our current environmental impact and propose strategies for improvement
- Lead educational workshops and events to raise awareness about environmental conservation
- Stay informed about the latest environmental policies and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for environmental sustainability and social responsibility
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
