Position Available: Legal Solutions Specialist
Kaimosi Friends University College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Legal Solutions Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of our academic institution.
- Advise university stakeholders on matters relating to governance, compliance, and regulatory affairs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making processes across various departments.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrators to ensure that policies and practices align with legal standards.
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Admission to the bar and a minimum of 5 years' experience practicing in a legal capacity.
- Strong knowledge of educational law, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex legal issues and providing practical solutions.
