Uppsala University - Universitetsbiblioteket - Carolina Rediviva is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cultural Heritage Experience Curator. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting enriching experiences that highlight the historical and cultural significance of our region.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop engaging cultural experiences for visitors
- Curate exhibitions and events that showcase the unique heritage of Uppsala
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote tourism and cultural initiatives
- Conduct tours and educational programs for diverse audiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in History, Art History, Cultural Studies, or related field
- Proven experience in cultural heritage preservation and interpretation
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Passion for promoting local history and cultural heritage
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
