Position Available: Flavor Development Specialist
Job Description: McCormick & Company is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as a Flavor Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth sensory evaluations, analyzing flavor profiles, and creating innovative flavor solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and develop new flavor concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives
- Conduct sensory testing and evaluation of flavor prototypes
- Stay updated on industry trends and flavor preferences to guide product innovation
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in flavor development or a related role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with flavor creation and formulation
- Knowledge of sensory evaluation methods
- Familiarity with food industry regulations and quality standards
