Join our team at Karura Forest, a leading organization committed to environmental conservation and sustainable practices in the Nairobi Metropolitan area. We are currently seeking an Environmental Conservation Specialist to contribute to our mission of preserving the natural beauty of our region.

As an Environmental Conservation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to protect and enhance the biodiversity of Karura Forest. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting research and surveys to assess the current state of the forest ecosystem
Designing and implementing conservation programs to mitigate environmental threats
Collaborating with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable agricultural practices
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of conservation initiatives
Providing guidance and training to forest rangers and volunteers

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in environmental science or a related field. The ideal candidate should possess:
