Join Our Team - Animal Welfare Specialist Needed!
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Nakuru Women's Empowerment Foundation team in Nakuru, Kenya. If you have a deep love for animals and a desire to make a difference in their lives, this position may be perfect for you.
Position: Animal Welfare Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage programs that promote the well-being and health of animals in our community
- Work closely with local organizations to provide necessary care and support for animals
- Educate the public on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare issues
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure the welfare of animals in various environments
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving animal welfare
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for animal welfare and a genuine love for animals
- Experience in working with animals or in a related field is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of animal behavior, health, and well-being
