Join Our Team as a Diverse Cultural Wellness Ambassador

The Husavik Community Welfare Fund, located in the Northeastern Region of Iceland, is seeking a passionate and caring individual to serve as a Diverse Cultural Wellness Ambassador. In this role, you will play a critical part in promoting wellness and providing culturally sensitive support to our diverse community.

Responsibilities:

Engage with individuals from various cultural backgrounds to assess wellness needs.
Develop and implement customized wellness plans that respect cultural differences.
Collaborate with local healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for all community members.
Organize wellness events and workshops that celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
Advocate for cultural competence and understanding within the healthcare system.

Qualifications:

A deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a commitment to promoting inclusivity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in community outreach or wellness programs is a plus.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous.
