We are seeking a Senior Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Nevada Department of Transportation. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze production processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing optimization
- Develop and implement quality control measures for production
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any operational issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into our manufacturing processes
- Lead and mentor junior engineers to maintain a high standard of production excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of production and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with relevant software and technical tools
