Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is a renowned establishment in Lucerne that stands for excellence, luxury, and environmental responsibility. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Sustainability Associate, a role that focuses on promoting eco-friendly practices and supporting local sustainability efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable strategies to reduce environmental impact
- Collaborate with local farmers and suppliers to source organic and locally produced ingredients
- Educate staff and guests on the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation
- Monitor and analyze our carbon footprint and resource consumption
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in sustainable practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or related field
- Prior experience in sustainability initiatives within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Passionate about environmental conservation and social responsibility
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
