We are seeking a committed individual to join our team at Associació de Voluntaris d’Ajuda als Refugiats de les Illes Balears in a role that revolves around community outreach and engagement. As a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our mission, facilitating meaningful connections within the community and helping us expand our outreach efforts to support refugees in the Balearic Islands.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment and onboarding processes
- Organize and manage volunteer schedules and assignments
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to foster a strong volunteer community
- Collaborate with local organizations and partners to expand our network
- Plan and execute events to raise awareness and support for refugee initiatives
Qualifications:
- Passion for social responsibility and community engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Proficient in Spanish and English
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination or related fields is a plus
