Alexander & Baldwin, located in the stunning landscape of Hawaii, is seeking a diligent and passionate individual to join our team as a Wildlife Sanctuary Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with wildlife experts to ensure the well-being of the sanctuary’s inhabitants
- Develop and implement enrichment programs for the wildlife to promote their physical and mental health
- Monitor wildlife behavior and health, identifying any issues or concerns
- Conduct educational programs and tours for visitors to promote awareness about wildlife conservation
- Keep detailed records of the wildlife population, their activities, and growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Prior experience working with wildlife in a sanctuary or similar environment
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and welfare
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- A deep passion for wildlife conservation and environmental protection
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
