Geo-Heritage Site Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Geo-Heritage Site Conservation Specialist to join our team in Saxony, Germany. As a Geo-Heritage Site Conservation Specialist, you will play a key role in preserving and protecting the historical and geological significance of the Görlitz Old Town Bridge and its surroundings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological surveys of the site
- Develop conservation plans to protect the geo-heritage site
- Implement sustainable practices for site maintenance
- Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders on preservation efforts
- Educate the public on the geological importance of the site
- Monitor and assess any potential risks to the site's integrity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
- Proven experience in geo-heritage site conservation
- Strong understanding of geological processes and site preservation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
