At Idaho Housing and Finance Association, we are committed to fostering sustainable communities and contributing to environmental responsibility. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Sustainable Community Engagement Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote sustainable living and environmentally conscious behaviors.
- Create and maintain relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and environmental advocacy groups.
- Lead initiatives to raise awareness about sustainable housing practices through innovative outreach programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate sustainable messaging into outreach and marketing materials.
- Analyze and report on the impact of community engagement efforts in promoting social and environmental responsibility.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to sustainable community engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Communications, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in community outreach, event coordination, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for environmental advocacy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable living practices and environmental initiatives.
- Experience in public speaking and delivering engaging presentations is a plus.
