We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at South Panola School District in Mississippi for an Athletic Development Specialist. This role focuses on enhancing the performance and well-being of our student-athletes through specialized training programs and skill development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tailored athletic development programs
- Assess and monitor student-athletes' progress and performance
- Collaborate with coaches to support athletes' overall development
- Provide guidance on injury prevention and recovery techniques
- Organize and oversee sports events and competitions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field
- Certification in strength and conditioning (CSCS) preferred
- Prior experience working with student-athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for athletic development and student success
