Aosta Valley Regional Library is seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join our team as a Cultural Heritage Protection Specialist. As a key member of our organization in the captivating region of Aosta Valley, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and preserving our rich cultural heritage.
This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the importance of heritage protection. You will work closely with our diverse team and collaborate with external partners to ensure the safety and security of our valuable cultural assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to protect cultural artifacts and historical documents
- Conduct regular assessments of security protocols and make necessary recommendations for enhancements
- Collaborate with local authorities and cultural institutions to exchange knowledge and best practices in heritage preservation
- Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities to mitigate risks to our collections
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage Management, History, or related field
