We're Hiring: Nature Conservation Specialist
The Kalmar Birdwatching Society is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Nature Conservation Specialist. If you have a passion for the environment and a keen interest in preserving our natural habitats, this position is perfect for you.
About Us:
At Kalmar Birdwatching Society, we are committed to promoting bird conservation and protecting our local ecosystems. We organize educational programs, birdwatching events, and conservation initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of preserving wildlife.
Your Role:
- Develop and implement conservation projects to protect local bird species and their habitats
- Collaborate with researchers and environmental organizations to support biodiversity initiatives
- Educate the community about the significance of bird conservation and environmental sustainability
- Conduct field surveys and monitor bird populations to assess conservation efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- Experience in nature conservation projects or wildlife research
- Strong knowledge of local bird species and their habitats
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
