We are Hiring: Community Engagement Specialist

Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association - Charlotte is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. As a member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with local communities, businesses, and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and enhance outdoor recreational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage diverse communities in outdoor activities.
Collaborate with local partners to organize events and initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and community involvement.
Educate individuals on the benefits of sustainable agriculture practices and how they relate to outdoor recreation.
Facilitate communication between the organization and various cultural groups to ensure inclusivity and diversity.
Conduct research on industry trends and community needs to enhance our engagement efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Community Development, or related field.
Experience in community outreach, event planning, or public relations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Passion for promoting environmental sustainability and outdoor recreation.
Knowledge of local agricultural practices and rural community dynamics.
