Job Description:
As a Sustainable Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing community engagement initiatives that promote environmental awareness and conservation. Your role will involve coordinating outreach programs, organizing eco-friendly events, and collaborating with local stakeholders to foster a culture of sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute community outreach strategies to educate the public about environmental issues
- Plan and organize environmental awareness campaigns and events
- Collaborate with schools, businesses, and community groups to promote sustainable practices
- Evaluate the impact of community engagement programs and initiatives
- Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability efforts in the region
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Communications, or related field
- Previous experience in community engagement, public relations, or event planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders
