Spindale Elementary School is seeking an Environmental Impact Manager to oversee our sustainable transportation initiatives. We are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing environmental impact. This role involves managing the ecological effects of our transportation activities and developing strategies to enhance our environmentally responsible practices.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable transportation plans to minimize greenhouse gas emissions.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure eco-friendly transportation processes.
Analyze and optimize transportation routes to reduce fuel consumption and environmental impact.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and promote environmentally-responsible practices.
Evaluate the environmental impact of transportation-related activities and recommend improvements.
Advise on the selection of greener transportation methods and technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
Proven experience in environmental management within transportation or relevant industries.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable transportation practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
