We are looking for a driven and culturally sensitive individual to join our dynamic team at Västra Götalands Idrottsförbund in Sweden's Västra Götalands län. As a Multicultural Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in fostering inclusivity and diversity within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance multicultural engagement within the sports community
Organize and promote events that celebrate diversity and inclusion
Collaborate with various cultural groups to understand their needs and preferences
Facilitate communication between different communities to promote unity and understanding
Support initiatives to increase participation of underrepresented groups in sports and entertainment
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of multicultural programs and initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong intercultural communication and relationship-building skills
Experience in community engagement or multicultural programs
Passion for promoting diversity and inclusivity
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
