We are seeking a versatile and creative professional to join the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB) located in Mpumalanga, South Africa. As a Visual Presentation Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our institution's efforts to visually communicate scientific data and principles related to aquatic biodiversity.

Overview:

Design and create visually stunning presentations for research findings, scientific data, and educational materials related to aquatic ecosystems
Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and education specialists to develop innovative visual communication solutions
Utilize advanced software and technologies to ensure the highest quality of visual content
Contribute to the establishment of our institution's visual brand and identity
Promote the understanding and appreciation of aquatic biodiversity through creative and engaging visual storytelling

Qualifications:

Proven experience in graphic design, visual communications, or related fields
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing industry-standard design software and tools
Experience working in a scientific or research-oriented environment is a plus
An understanding of biological, ecological, or environmental concepts is beneficial
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
A passion for innovative and impactful visual storytelling
