We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator in Region 20 at the Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Aging and Adult Services.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in fostering connections with local communities and stakeholders, working towards enhancing the quality of life for our aging population. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing outreach programs to support aging adults in rural communities
Forging partnerships with agricultural organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives
Coordinating events and activities that bring together diverse community members
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of services
Evaluating program effectiveness and providing recommendations for enhancement

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in community engagement, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Experience in working with aging populations and knowledge of local agricultural resources is preferred but not required.
