We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator in Region 20 at the Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Aging and Adult Services.
As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in fostering connections with local communities and stakeholders, working towards enhancing the quality of life for our aging population. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing outreach programs to support aging adults in rural communities
- Forging partnerships with agricultural organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives
- Coordinating events and activities that bring together diverse community members
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of services
- Evaluating program effectiveness and providing recommendations for enhancement
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in community engagement, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Experience in working with aging populations and knowledge of local agricultural resources is preferred but not required.
